As members of a parish community, we want to get to know our church family better and we want to give you the opportunity to creatively express the unique story God is authoring in your life.
We would like to feature testimonies of St. Patrick parishioners in our parish bulletin. These stories provide an opportunity for us to learn from each other’s faith journeys and to be reminded of the hope that belongs to us, the adopted sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:16-17).
If you would like to share an experience of God at work in your life, a story about one of our ministries, or your personal testimony, please submit your writings to the parish office or email to [email protected]. And if you want to share but remain anonymous, just let us know. Articles should be around 300 words. This is not an exact number as there is quite a bit of wiggle room with line and wording spacing and graphics. We've had between 200-450 word articles.
We are lifted up in our faith by sharing our spiritual experiences with each other, and others may yet come to faith through the telling of our stories. This is a way we use what God is creating in us to glorify Him and reach others for Jesus. Give it a try. Who knows, your story may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
Here are a few examples to help you think about experiences involving your faith.
- How has your faith grown?
- Has a St. Patrick ministry helped you grow closer to God?
- Have you experienced the Mercy of God?
- When did you feel your heart transformed by Jesus?
