St. Patrick Wentzville Adopt-A-Day
You are invited to attend with us, through CoalitionLife.com, the Day of Prayer at the FENCE of Planned Parenthood in St. Louis on September 30! St. Patrick's Church has adopted the day, from 10 am to 4 pm and we invite you to adopt just one hour to spend with one other person at Planned Parenthood, 4251 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108.
To volunteer your time, contact Jennifer at 636-345-2005 or sign-up online at www.coalitionforlifestl.com/vigil-calendar-2/. Find Fri 09/30, click on desired time. This will open up a new window with details where you then click “sign up”.
If you are going, please let them know. Any hours not claimed will be filled by a substitute volunteer who will heroically fill in for St. Patrick's to ensure there are two people there at all times. Safety is always the most important thing!
Some believe that it is not necessary now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned. All that means is that the decision has been returned to the states. Although Missouri is the first state to say "NO" to abortion in our state, it doesn't mean that people are saying no. It also doesn't reassure anyone that they will receive the help they need with an untimely pregnancy. As it seems, prolifers are relaxing thinking the 49 year-long job is done. By peaceful vigil before the building that housed so many deaths by abortion, and continues to refer abortions to Planned Parenthood Fairview Heights just minutes away, you and your family and friends are powerfully and boldly proclaiming your love for God's people. Not one of us could get through our lives without the help of others. And so, while we are there praying and asking God for the strength and courage to stand or kneel there, we are asking God to give courage and strength to those mothers who are afraid or pressured or even careless. Their lives are going to be changed and with our prayers and God's grace they will be changed for the better, with new life!
Please register for one hour. You will not be alone. We need two adults per hour. Come a little early and maybe stay a few minutes later to greet your replacement.
Plan an hour to get there from Wentzville and park in the residential area. There aren't any parking meters there along Laclede and Boyle.
Thank you for appreciating life and thanking God through Jesus that your mom chose for you to be born and be encouraging to others who are fearful and maybe choose abortion. We all make mistakes, but finding a path through our problems makes life worth living and we can help others find their way just by being present.
Thank you and God bless you,
St. Patrick's Church Pro-life Committee
Again, thank you for sending this message forward to all you know.

SIGN THE PETITION TO SAVE THE HYDE AMENDMENT
The Hyde Amendment, contained in the federal government's annual appropriations legislation, prohibits federal funding of domestic abortions, except in cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. It is a bi-partisan provision that has been part of federal appropriations for 45 years (since 1976). In addition to being widely supported by Americans, it saves lives and respects the consciences of Americans. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops supports this effort to stop Congress from removing the Hyde Amendment. Stop your tax dollars from going to abortion. Visit NoTaxpayerAbortion.com to sign the petition to take action and receive more information.
