Formerly known as Funeral Luncheon Committee, our Table of Plenty volunteers are mobilized to support events and programs in the parish by providing food and beverage for those in attendance. Volunteers are on a rotating list to keep things energized and allows involvement from throughout the parish.

We use Meal Train to help our parish families. The arrival of a new baby. Loss of a loved one. Financial difficulty. Illness. Hospitalization. These are just a few of the situations that bring out a family’s need for assistance with meal preparation. In these times, we as friends, neighbors, and community members are given the holy opportunity to extend a hand in loving assistance. We provide hot, homemade food, dessert, a hug, and a blessing. In doing so, we help alleviate the worry about cost, time, and energy of meal preparation for those in need. We are able to show the mercy and love of God to those around us by providing for the basic human needs of others.
During a time of loss, families need the most care. Here at St. Patrick Parish, we provide a funeral luncheon to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We provide the main dish, drinks, and supplies, and we rely on others in our family of faith to provide a donated side dish or dessert to make a complete meal for the family. A team of women and men from St. Patrick then gather on the day of the funeral to prepare and serve the meal with care, providing an opportunity for the family to spend time with loved ones and friends following the service or burial.
Table of Plenty would be honored to provide a luncheon for our parishioners and their families. Luncheons are held in the church social hall following the Funeral Mass.
Contact the parish office at 636-332-9225 to make plans for the luncheon. Table of Plenty will then contact our parish volunteers who will set-up and serve the luncheon.
If anyone would like to help with our Table of Plenty mission, please contact our Table of Plenty coordinator, Joyce Hunsel, at 636-639-6549.
