Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children’s Liturgy takes place most Sundays of the school year during the 9:00 AM Mass. After the Introductory Rites, children are invited forward for a blessing and then dismissed with trained leaders to the social hall. There, they hear the readings, sing, and reflect on the Gospel through age-appropriate activities before returning to church after the Prayers of the Faithful. The experience lasts about 15–20 minutes.
This is a beautiful way for children to encounter God’s Word in a way they can understand, while parents and volunteers still fulfill their Sunday Mass obligation.
