I love this time of year! After celebrating All Saints and All Souls Day, we move into Thanksgiving and then Advent, the start of the liturgical year. It's a beautiful season to reflect on the Incarnation of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amid our busy lives, it's important to pause and focus on what truly matters.

I’m also grateful for the generous response to our giving challenge for land acquisition and offertory collections. One family shared:

"Hey Fr. Shaughnessy,
We accept your challenges! Today we sent a $10,000 check for land acquisition and increased our monthly contribution by $50 starting in December. We will pray for success in the land purchases and that others will open their hearts and wallets. Thank you for your leadership."

I’m continually amazed by the generosity of our parish community. God has great plans for us, and it’s an exciting time to be at St. Patrick Parish.
