FR. DAN SHAUGHNESSY
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Today, June 29, we celebrate the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, two pillars of our faith who dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel. Let us pray for Pope Leo, who currently occupies the See of Peter, that he may be granted the wisdom and strength to lead us in these challenging times.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who participated in our first Eucharistic Procession last Sunday, June 22. Whether you walked with us in the summer heat or lifted us up in prayer from the church, your devotion was a beautiful testament to our shared love for the Eucharist. Special thanks to our seminarian, John Paul, for organizing this reverent and joyful event. May Christ in the Eucharist continue to inspire and renew us as a parish family.
As we look ahead, please keep our middle schoolers, teens, and leaders in your prayers. They attended Life Teen camps in Georgia this past week and will attend the Steubenville Conference in Springfield, MO, in July. May these experiences deepen their faith and strengthen their commitment to Christ.
I encourage everyone to continue spreading the word about our outstanding St. Patrick Catholic School, which serves grades K–8 and offers early childhood programs. For more information, please visit the St. Patrick School website.
Additionally, our Parish School of Religion (PSR) program is vital for the spiritual growth of our children. Registration is now open, and you can find more details at stpatrickwentzville.org/psr.
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication. God bless you.
Fr. Dan Shaughnessy
