Soccer

Soccer registration for the fall 2021 season is here!

You can register online at www.teamsideline.com/sites/cyosaintcharlesmo/home

Cost is $80/player and an additional $25 for non-parishioners. Last day to sign up will be May 31, no exceptions. Deadline has been extended to Fri, June 11. If you sign up and decide that your child does not want to play, there will be a $25 charge to reimburse your fee. This will not be charged if for some reason your child does not get placed on a team. For questions, email the St. Patrick Athletic Association at soccer@stpatsch.org.

Soccer Uniforms
Everyone will be required to purchase a jersey from Winning Streak. The jerseys will be the same as last year so if you ordered one last year and it still fits you can use the same one.  Along with the jersey from Winning Streak, all players are responsible for purchasing black shorts and socks. For Pre-K players St Patrick Athletic Association will issue you a St Patrick jersey. During registration please answer the question on your player's shirt size.

REFEREES WANTED: St. Patrick is looking for youth (15+) and adults that would be interested in becoming CYC soccer referees. St. Patrick Athletic Association will provide all the training and instruction required to become a successful CYC referee. This is a great way to make some extra money and help out St. Patrick athletics. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact: Jeff Lepp, Assistant Referee Coordinator, 314-249-6003 or Jeffrey.Lepp@gmail.com. All referees must be compliant with the Safe Environment Program. This consists of attending a Protecting God’s Children Workshop and registering with Prevent & Protect online. For assistance with Prevent & Protect, contact Rebecca Dollens, Child Safety Coordinator, at rebecca@stpatsch.org.

Players and Coaches:  CYC ID Cards Required
All players, regardless of age, and coaches are required to have a CYC ID Card. There is a $5.00 yearly fee for the youth card and a $5.00 one-time fee for the adult card. All cards will be delivered to your email as an image file. No physical card will be mailed. Apply online.

Coaches and Assistant Coaches
Your continued support through volunteering to coach is, as always, greatly needed and appreciated! All coaches and assistant coaches must be compliant with the Safe Environment Program. This consists of attending a Protecting God’s Children Workshop (in person or online). For assistance, contact Rebecca Dollens, Child Safety Coordinator, at rebecca@stpatsch.org. You must also complete an online Coaching to Make a Positive Difference Class, and have a CYC ID Card.

Volunteers
It takes a concerted effort to make a soccer season successful, so we are always looking for volunteers. Each team will be asked to have a field supervisor at every one of your home games. Once the schedule is out, we will set up a sign-up genius page for you to have a parent sign up. If you would like to help with coaching, supervising the fields, coordinating referees or in any other way, please contact us at soccer@stpatsch.org. All volunteers must be compliant with the Safe Environment Program. This consists of attending a Protecting God’s Children Workshop. For assistance, contact Rebecca Dollens, Child Safety Coordinator, at rebecca@stpatsch.org.

Coach and Fan Behavior
Behavior of both the coaches and fans will again be very emphasized this year to avoid any incidents between opposing coaches, fans, players, or referees. There is a NO tolerance policy in effect. If an incident occurs, you will be asked to leave the field immediately and possibly suspended for the next game or more depending on the severity of the incident. This pertains to anyone attending or coaching a game. Please help us make this a pleasant experience for our children.
